I want to bring joy and a little smirk to the faces of all who visit my shop.
I’ve come to realize that my delve back into art began during the pandemic with time on my hands. But when it really truly began was when my daughter left for university. I guess because of the cliches around empty nest syndrome and midlife crisis, it was difficult to admit that. When I create art it’s all an experiment to me. I’m finding my voice, ANYTHING is possible. It’s an exploration into who I am and who I am STILL becoming. It’s not an end to who I was but a beginning to who I can become, who I’m becoming. Always evolving. That’s amazing and hopeful and energizing. It’s not an uncommon story, but it’s a true story.
